SQE – supplier quality engineer
Web Automotive's Supplier Quality Engineers work with suppliers to ensure that deadlines and quality standards are met.
SQEs are responsible for:
Controlling product testing and verifying the operating standards. (GP12, CSL1, CSL2 and finished product sequencing).
Following up supplier development projects.
Carrying out periodic visits to plants and preparing reports.
Managing process and system audits.
Knowing and applying APQP procedures.
Defining and supervising improvement plans.

Experts in manual and automated production plant lines monitor operations at the station and follow transfers, instructing and directing the supplier's technicians.

Carry out visual, dimensional, electronic and mechanical checks.
Perform software updates and reflashing.
Outsourced quality management.
Start product rework.
Perform Tutorship and Flying Doctor activities.
